We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the Supacat project at Devonport. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new and innovative project building military vehicles for the MOD.
The contract is initially for 2 years, with a possibility of extension. We are looking for individuals with experience in vehicle builds, particularly in auto electrics and electrical fitting. Domestic electricians and marine electricians are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read electrical and engineering drawings, interpret work instructions, and be competent in the use of general workshop machinery specific to auto electrics and electrical fitting.
Relevant qualifications include a Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline, Armed Forces PO/CPO/NCO with electrical specialisation, or a Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:45, with 35 hours per week.
