Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PET-CT Radiology Specialist to join our dynamic team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Imaging Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, including a bonus scheme and excellent benefits.

About the Role:
• Develop and enhance the PET-CT and general nuclear medicine service at Barts Health NHS Trust.
• Contribute to the high-quality Consultant-led Nuclear Medicine service at Barts Health NHS Trust.
• Participate in research and development, trials, and therapies in Nuclear Medicine & PET CT.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based care for all patients.
• Liaise effectively with colleagues, General Practitioners, community services, and healthcare agencies.
• Maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary work.
• Participate fully in the management of the Departments and liaison closely with the respective clinical lead, clinical and academic group directors, and Head of Department.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• FRCR or MRCP CCST in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine or CESR-CP in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine (or within 6 months of date of interview).
• MSc/Post Graduate Diploma in Nuclear medicine.
• Clinical expertise in Specialty/Sub-speciality: experience in general nuclear medicine, PET-CT, and radionuclide therapies.
• Clinical Governance: knowledge of NHS complaints system, record of incident and near miss reporting, training in root cause analysis, participation in incident investigation, simulated patient safety training.
• Management/Audit Experience: management courses, expert knowledge of service improvement methodology (incl. clinical audit cycle) as well as data analysis, report writing, and excellent communication skills.
• Involvement in specialty clinical audit programme: completed audit cycle leading to change in practice and quality improvement, evidence of published clinical effectiveness project or recent conference presentation.
