About the Role

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled ROV Pilot Technician to join our team. As an ROV Pilot Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) on a worldwide basis, ensuring that components are operational to conduct investigations, inspections, and underwater interventions in accordance with project deliverables and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ROV systems offshore, ensuring compliance with project deliverables and regulations.
  • Set up, maintain, pilot, and operate a range of ROVs, including work-class and eyeball specification ROVs.
  • Conduct investigations, inspections, and underwater interventions using ROVs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an ROV Pilot Technician at offshore worksites.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobilisations, operations, and fault finding of work-class and eyeball specification ROVs.
  • Nationally recognised technical or trade qualification and/or appropriate level national vocational qualification in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, or mechanics.
  • Ability to work offshore for prolonged periods of time.
