About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Farnborough office in Hampshire, UK as an Accountant. Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with project managers.
- Improve finance processes, including monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Maintain correct master data in SAP B1 and Tagetik systems and ensure accurate financial reconciliation.
- Approve bank payments, freelancers' invoices, and report taxable benefits to HMRC.
- Support audit preparation, cover team members during absences, and handle national statistics surveys.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably in controlling and reporting.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP accounting, and local taxes.
- Knowledge of ERPs, preferably in SAP / SAP B1 / IFS, and excellent MS Office skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and effective communication skills.
