About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Hays Senior Finance as a Chief Financial Officer, leading the finance team and driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance team and develop financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with the Executive team to support strategic business planning and growth.
  • Review and implement improvements to finance systems and processes.
  • Produce high-quality management accounts and financial information for the Group.
  • Oversee audit and lead external auditor engagement.
  • Contribute to strategic business planning and acquisition activities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in finance leadership positions, ideally within an SME.
  • Experience supporting post-acquisition integration of business systems, processes, and reporting.
  • Successful finance team leadership.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts for a Group.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary circa. £95,000.
  • Discretionary annual bonus.

Please note that this role is fully office based, and some flexibility may be required to work outside of office hours. You must be able to commute to Swindon (Junction 16 or 15 of the M4) daily.
