Job Description

The Head of Finance role is a critical position that requires a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial operations and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, managing budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

The Head of Finance will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the charity's overall ambitions and strategic objectives.
  • Leading and managing a high-performing finance team to deliver excellent results and high-quality service.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, reports, and records, and maintaining confidentiality where required.

  • A strong background in finance, preferably with experience in a similar leadership role.
