Job Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is partnering with a leading ground engineering contractor to recruit a Bid Manager for their expanding team. With over 50 staff across offices in Essex and Bristol, our client specializes in soil and groundwater remediation, decommissioning, decontamination & demolition, site enabling, and Safeground works.

This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the company's growth and expansion into new markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing bids for new projects, working closely with the sales team and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage bids for new projects, ensuring timely submission and high-quality content
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Work closely with other stakeholders, including project managers and technical experts, to ensure accurate and comprehensive bid content
  • Manage and maintain bid documentation, including templates, guidelines, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid management, preferably in the ground engineering or construction industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues
