Deputy Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a care home in the Newtown, Wales area.

This care home offers a range of care plans in a warm and safe setting, tailored to the needs of each individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based care packages, leading and supervising the support and nursing teams, and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, therapeutic interventions, and activity programmes.
  • Lead and supervise the support and nursing teams to deliver exceptional care.
  • Recognise and address areas of concern, including sickness management, staff training, and coaching and mentoring.
  • Understand and support the needs of service users with disabilities, health, and social care needs.
  • Provide care and support to ensure personal hygiene needs are met.
  • Have a strong knowledge of person-centred care and CIW/CQC standards.

The successful Deputy Care Home Manager will receive a competitive salary of £16.64 per hour, with an annual salary of £31,150. This is a permanent full-time role working 36 hours a week.
