Precision Machinist for Classic Sports Cars

Are you a precision engineer with an interest in classic sports cars? We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer setter operator to join our client's small team of automotive enthusiasts in rural Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on low volume parts and contribute to the repair of iconic vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 4 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls. They must also have experience working from engineering drawings and adhering to strict health & safety standards. Additionally, they will need to perform quality checks on their own work using micrometres and callipers.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming and operating CNC Milling machines. They should also be able to use manual milling machines and have excellent problem-solving abilities. As this role involves working with a small team, good communication skills are essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The position is based in rural Oxfordshire, and therefore, having your own transport and driving license is a requirement due to the remote location. In addition, the successful candidate will need to have the right to work in the UK.
