We are seeking a skilled Risk Analysis Specialist to join our team at Massenhove Recruitment. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will play a crucial role in analysing risk in insurance proposals, determining policy terms, and calculating premiums based on actuarial, statistical, and background information.
Main Responsibilities- Assess standard and non-standard underwriting information to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Offer appropriate quotations and acceptance of risks, ensuring that our company's objectives are met.
- Retain existing broker relationships and develop new ones to drive business growth.
- Ensure all underwriting is conducted within Authority limits, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Review referred claims and respond to customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain regular contact with trading partners, ensuring that our company's trading standards are met.
- Liaise with the Accounts Department to assist with premium collection and monitor technical and regulatory matters.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Carry out any other functions deemed necessary by the Team Leader or Underwriting Manager to ensure the effective operation of the department.
