At Circle Group, we're seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to join our team as a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled offensive security specialist to leverage their expertise in designing and implementing automated security tests, conducting penetration testing, and red teaming exercises.

We're looking for someone with a passion for pushing the limits of speed, efficiency, and effectiveness in security testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Automated Security Tests: Develop and execute cutting-edge security tests that simulate real-world attacks.
  • Penetration Testing and Red Teaming: Conduct thorough penetration tests and participate in red teaming exercises to identify vulnerabilities and improve our security posture.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to enhance security practices, ensure secure coding standards, and implement robust security measures.
  • Analyze and Report on Security Vulnerabilities: Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Security Trends: Stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our security strategies remain effective and proactive.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience in Offensive Security: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in offensive security roles, with a strong track record of success in penetration testing, red teaming, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong Coding Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages, such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
  • Experience with Penetration Testing Tools and Methodologies: Familiarity with popular penetration testing frameworks, such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, or ZAP, and experience with industry-standard penetration testing methodologies.
  • Excellent Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, and the option to work abroad for extended periods. The ideal candidate must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
