Property Care Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Care Manager to join our team at Gloucester City Homes (GCH). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our front-line repairs and maintenance services, ensuring that we provide a top-tier service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Property Care Team, developing and maintaining a strong performance and continuous improvement culture.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that our repairs service meets the highest standards, while increasing our in-house technical capabilities and reducing our reliance on subcontractors.
- Work closely with our Director of Homes and Sustainability to develop and implement strategies to improve our repairs and maintenance services.
- Maximise the capabilities of our new Repairs System, leveraging data analytics to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of social housing regulation and compliance, ensuring that our services meet the required standards.
- A proven track record of leadership and management in repairs and maintenance, with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Excellent business management skills, with the ability to make commercial and value for money decisions.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of managing resources, budgets, and contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
- A current CIH Level 4 qualification or willingness to study and obtain this qualification in line with the Social Housing Competency and Conduct standard.
