We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Support Professional to join our team of Cover Supervisors.

As a Teaching Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress and personal development of our students while ensuring the smooth operation of the school through cover supervision duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working as a Cover Supervisor during teacher absence, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Upholding the school's behaviour management policies and intervening as necessary to address any disruptions or issues that arise during cover supervision.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to the development of schemes of work, resources, and assessment materials.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required.

To be successful as a Teaching Support Professional, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree obtained within the last 5 years or at least 6 months of experience within the UK at a Secondary school as a Cover supervisor that can be referenced.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate students.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced educational environment.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to take on cover supervision duties as required.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
