About the RoleAs the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of dedicated support workers. Your leadership skills, understanding of regulatory requirements, and commitment to person-centered care will be instrumental in creating a supportive and empowering environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the individuals and their families.
- Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure they meet the changing needs of the residents.
- Foster a culture of positive communication and teamwork among staff members.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
- Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, such as local authorities and healthcare professionals.
- Registered Manager designation with a recognized healthcare regulatory body.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar care setting.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in social care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Additional pay: Performance bonus
