Job Overview
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our patients and ensuring that they receive the best possible care.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience as a clerical services coordinator. You will be working closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the care they need. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
* Respond to incoming telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner* Update patient records accurately and efficiently on our computerized system* Process and book outpatient appointments within agreed trust targets* Maintain confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information with discretion* Work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve shared goals

Requirements
* GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, one to be English* Good standard of education* Experience in clerical post* Advantageous: PAS/ERS experience

Salary
The salary for this position is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
