Foster Care Associates (FCA) is a leading independent fostering agency that has been making a positive difference in the lives of looked-after children since 1994. As an ASYE/Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support foster parents and their families to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and young people
* Monitor the continued suitability and competence of foster parents
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents
* Work in partnership with foster families to identify needs and provide support
* Ensure compliance with key documentation and attend meetings with commissioning teams
* Promote participation of children and young people in the development of the agency and in accessing resources and opportunities in their local community

**Requirements:**

* Social Work qualification
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
* Proven ability to produce high-quality report writing
* Comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively
* Full driving license
