Optometrist Job Description

Zest Business Group is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join their team of experienced professionals. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to patients, utilizing advanced equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough sight tests and provide personalized eyecare experiences for patients.
  • Work alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician to provide comprehensive eye care services.
  • Utilize advanced equipment, including Optomap, OCT, Tonometer, and digital slitlamp, to diagnose and treat eye conditions.
  • Provide patients with a high level of clinical freedom, allowing them to decide how to manage their care and what lens or contact lenses to dispense.
  • Work a 4-day week, including Saturdays, with flexible hours from 9am to 5:30pm.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in areas such as dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, specialist contact lenses, myopia control, and orthokeratology.
  • Ability to provide exceptional patient care and communication.
