Job Title: Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to lead the delivery of key technology projects within our GEiGS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Research Scientist for GEiGS projects, including laboratory-based work
  • Plan, execute, and analyze experiments, including statistics and reporting
  • Manage external collaborative projects and service providers
  • Work closely with our bioinformatics team to analyze RNA and siRNA sequencing data
  • Develop new research projects and novel bioassays to demonstrate our technology
  • Manage and plan work for technicians
  • Present and report results to key stakeholders
  • Train and mentor team members
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field with postdoc/industry experience or a Bsc/Msc in a relevant field with a strong record of delivery in biotechnology
  • Professional, effective communication and excellent team player skills
  • Managing collaborator relationships and projects, supervision, and line management skills
