Mitigation Coordinator

Job Title: Plant Hire Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Plant Hire Coordinator to join our team at Yorkshire Water. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Mitigation Hire desk, planning and coordinating requests, and ensuring effective communication with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Mitigation Hire desk to support Operational colleagues across Waste Water Service Delivery.
• Plan and coordinate reactive and proactive requests via phone and email.
• Take ownership of all enquiries through to completion, either by fulfilling with internal YW hire equipment or hiring equipment externally through contract partners.
• Arrange site visits when required and work closely with various teams to ensure effective communication.
• Responsible for getting quotations and mitigation solutions approved by site managers before deployment.
• Effectively liaise with site operators and contractors to book in installation and decommissioning dates.
• Organise transport to deploy and collect equipment when off-hired.
• Responsible for updating and managing a range of different weekly and monthly reports for performance and spend.
• Validate internal and external finances.
• Arrange services, repairs, and breakdowns for all internal and external mitigation hire equipment.
• Responsible for raising and receipting purchase orders in Ariba.
• Manage and maintain stock levels of internal YW hire equipment.
• Monitor and chase internal and external live hires and provide updates on resolutions and expected off-hire dates.
• Responsible for updating SAP when mitigation is in place.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build up effective working relationships with a range of people.
• Ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
• Excellent organisation skills, with a good eye for detail and ability to manage and reprioritise your own workload.
• Strong background in administration and a can-do attitude.
• Experience of managing customers and resolving issues.
• Experience of SAP is preferable but not essential.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office packages.
