Director of Philanthropic Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Strategic Funding at our organization. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our funding and grantmaking efforts and contribute to our mission of promoting equality through sport.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, program management, and fundraising. They will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive funding plans, working closely with our leadership team and external stakeholders to secure funding and support our initiatives.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, creativity, and adaptability, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in fundraising and grant making.
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive funding plans.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and external stakeholders to secure funding and support our initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate fundraising efforts across the organization.
- Strengthen relationships with existing funders and identify new opportunities for funding.
- Masters or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., business, finance, public administration).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
- Strong grasp of strategic planning, program management, and fundraising principles.
- Experience working with boards, trustees, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support initiatives.
