Electrical Assembler Job Description

Company Overview:

UK Networks Services is a young and growing company based in Hertfordshire, dedicated to helping customers transition to net zero by designing and installing specialist electrical control systems.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our small team of electricians and panel builders. The successful candidate will be responsible for building electrical panels and equipment from detailed engineering drawings at our manufacturing facilities in Bishops Stortford, and installing them nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building of electrical panels from engineering drawings
  • Installation of electrical panels on customer premises
  • Testing, fault-finding and process control
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Identifying improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical installation, fault-finding, or another electrical-related field
  • Hands-on experience of electrical panel building
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles
  • Ability to interpret and understand electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults
