Exciting Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant

We are working with a Primary school in Runcorn to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support a Y2 pupil on a 1-1 basis. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting students with a personalised curriculum and will be able to build a relationship and help the student overcome any obstacles and barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalised 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
  • Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for the pupil you are supporting.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN or working 1:1.
  • A genuine passion for providing learning support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent qualification. or 2 years classroom experience.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above/ or functional skills level 2.
