About the Role

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of materials and products.

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and conducting regular safety inspections.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Design and implement efficient storage layouts, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse to increase efficiency and reduce handling time.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained in good working condition and used safely.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, and order fulfilment accuracy.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to align on material requirements and schedule changes.

  • Knowledge of bonded warehouse systems and procedures
  • FMCG warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience of warehousing in food sector

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and holiday entitlement.
