Visual Arts Facilitator

About the Opportunity:

GSL Education - Hull is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Art Teacher to join our team in East Riding of Yorkshire.

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a vibrant and engaging art curriculum that aligns with national standards.

The successful applicant must have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters artistic expression and creativity in our students.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience teaching Art at the GCSE level within the last two years and a proven ability to inspire students and instill a love for the visual arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver a vibrant and engaging art curriculum that aligns with national standards.
• Use various teaching methods to engage students of different abilities and inspire curiosity in the visual arts.
• Collaborate with the arts department and other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary projects and showcase student work.

Essential Requirements:

• PGCE in Secondary Art with QTS or other UK-recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching Art at the GCSE level within the last two years.
• Proven ability to inspire students and instill a love for the visual arts.
• Strong knowledge of the art curriculum and effective classroom management skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
