Instrumentation Systems Manager

**Job Summary**

OBM People is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Systems Manager to join our team in Hull. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our asset management systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

* **Asset Management**: Take ownership of all instrument-related assets in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accuracy, creation, modification, and deletion of entries to keep our systems up-to-date and compliant.
* **Compliance & Improvement**: Lead efforts to ensure that all instrument assets meet the highest standards of compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing projects that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
* **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to provide expert advice on instrumentation systems, supporting ongoing manufacturing and operational activities.

**Requirements**

* **Educational Background**: HNC (or equivalent) in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
* **Experience**: Demonstrated experience in a 24/7 high-hazard COMAH industrial environment.
* **Technical Expertise**: Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, with a track record of managing and optimizing these systems in a high-stakes setting.
* **Operational Insight**: Hands-on experience working at the engineering and operational interface, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
