Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced electrical maintenance professional looking for a dynamic role with a great work-life balance? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Bay Ltd.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including records of repairs and maintenance performed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and circuit diagrams
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Logical thinker with a positive, proactive attitude
  • FMCG manufacturing background preferred
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC or equivalent; time-served experience is also valued
