Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including annual leave, CPD allowance, and professional fees paid.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
Working Conditions
This role offers a fantastic work-life balance, with no out-of-hours (OOH) or on-call commitments. You will work 1 Saturday every other week, with time off in lieu.
