Job Summary:

Mercury Search and Selection is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining UV inkjet printing equipment, as well as providing technical support and guidance to clients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Service Engineer with experience in maintaining and repairing UV inkjet or similar printing machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, as well as completing maintenance schedules and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting on-site diagnostics and repairs of UV inkjet printing equipment
  • Completing regular maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Providing technical support and guidance to clients on equipment operation and upkeep
  • Traveling within the Midlands region for service calls, repairs, and installations

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in maintaining and repairing UV inkjet or similar printing machinery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software systems relevant to UV inkjet printers
  • A valid, clean UK driver's license (required for travel)

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus bonus. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid holiday time.
