Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Right to Buy Specialist to join our Home Ownership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing an excellent, effective, and compliant Right to Buy (RTB) Service to our residential customers.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective RTB Service, including Legal Services, Property Services, and Valuations Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest level of service to customers ensuring queries, requests, and actions required as part of the RTB Service meets its Statutory timescales from receipt of RTB applications.
  • Contribute to service improvement work, sharing Good Practice, and improving efficiency for the benefit of the council and Home Ownership Service.
  • Respond to customer complaints and feedback liaising with internal and external stakeholders so appropriate, proportionate action can be taken.
  • Maintain accurate records, data on IT systems/housing management systems as appropriate to ensure accuracy of management information.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of Right to Buy legislation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
