Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our team at William Hill. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations meet all relevant regulatory requirements, while also providing strategic advice to stakeholders on compliance risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and implement changes in UK and Gibraltar gambling regulations, directives, and industry standards.
  • Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures to ensure our operations adhere to applicable UK and Gibraltar requirements.
  • Oversee the submission of regulatory reports, license renewals, and routine licensing applications.
  • Draft and ensure the submission of appropriate regulatory notifications.
  • Ensure effective governance and strategies in line with UK Gambling Commission expectations and internal compliance committee structure.
  • Conduct and contribute to regular risk assessments, updating risk registers, and identifying key risk indicators.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, ensuring the right outcomes for customers, and going beyond minimum regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on investigations into potential compliance/risk incidents.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of LCCP, AML, MLR, CTF requirements, relevant guidance, and best practices.
  • Experience with GBGC engagement, such as compliance assessments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective risk assessment and management.
