Clinical Trials Coordinator/Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our Research & Development team at the NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical research team with all aspects of clinical trials administration, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and trust policies.
You will provide support to the Research Nurses and wider Clinical Research Team, undertaking supervision of Band 4 Clinical Trial Coordinator(s) when required. Your duties will include monitoring administration of research grants or charitable grants, confirming appropriate payments, and liaising with R&D Finance Department.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials, workforce planning, and maintaining databases/spreadsheets. You will also be responsible for producing monthly progress reports on recruitment and managing your own workload for daily trial activity, including case report form completion and amendment processing.

Key Requirements- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Relevant training courses in clinical research
- Experience in clinical trial administration, including data management
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Experience of staff supervision/management
We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, plus a 15% high cost area supplement. You will also receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.
