Exciting Opportunity for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher in Sunderland

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to join our team as soon as possible. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach KS3 and KS4 Modern Foreign Languages to students of varying abilities
  • Plan, deliver, and mark lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students
  • Prepare and assess Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing exams
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the MFL curriculum with a specialism in at least one language
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply, with assistance provided)
  • Two professional references from recent employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
