About the Role
Tameside Council is seeking two highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as Wellbeing Advisors. As key members of our Adult Services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering early intervention, prevention, and wellbeing elements of Care Act 2014 responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Adults and Carers through Carers assessment or Wellbeing assessments for those who do not meet the National Eligibility thresholds for Adult Services.
- Provide information and advice or signpost to a range of community and voluntary sector organisations and services for Adults and Carers.
- Plan and develop effective interventions around prevention and wellbeing across the local area.
- Develop responses to meet Carers needs and evaluate service provision for Carers in line with the National Strategy for Carers and the Council's local policies.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about prevention and wellbeing, and who can work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends. You will also be expected to travel to various venues within Tameside to develop your local area.
