Court Usher Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Usher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic IT skills in Microsoft Packages and strong recent admin/customer service experience.

This role involves working as part of a flexible team, providing essential support to court users involved in hearings. The successful candidate will be responsible for clerking the courts, maintaining supplies, and completing recording sheets.

You will also be required to pass on information to all concerned promptly and clearly, keep court rooms tidy and well managed, label evidence, and perform general clerical work to support HMCTS. In addition, you will need to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
