Cook's Helper Position Available

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant at Bourton Hall. In this role, you will work closely with our chefs to prepare delicious meals for our guests and support the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized throughout the day, including tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  2. Food Preparation: Assist the Chef in preparing meals, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, peeling fruit, and washing food items
  3. Kitchen Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cooking equipment, such as ovens, pots, and food mixers, to ensure they are in good working condition
  4. Waste Disposal: Remove kitchen waste from waste containers and dispose of them properly to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  5. Delivery and Receiving: Receive deliveries and organize them in the kitchen to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required as full training will be provided

Salary: £19,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience
