Manufacturing Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:- Manage the manufacturing team to deliver best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
- Lead team members, ensuring staffing levels, recruitment, training, appraisals, attendance, issues, and daily supervision are efficient.
- Set departmental objectives and KPIs to drive performance.
- Deliver process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Prepare and own the manufacturing budget.
- Embed a safety culture mindset within the team.
- Own, manage, and develop all labour planning and manufacturing capacity planning tools.
- 5 or more years in a leadership or direct supervisory role in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
- Level 5 technical qualification or equivalent engineering/manufacturing degree/NVQ or qua.
- Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
- Motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of implementing quality systems to improve production efficiency.
