About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability and Energy Professional to join a well-established and respected sustainability consultancy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of energy assessment projects, focusing on developing and implementing detailed energy strategies for complex residential and non-residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver energy assessment projects for residential and non-residential developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy strategies.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement energy-saving measures to reduce energy consumption.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on energy-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree and/or substantial experience in the energy sector.
  • 3+ years' experience in energy assessment and consultancy for residential and non-residential development.
  • Membership or working towards a relevant industry body (e.g., CIBSE, EI, IMechE, IEMA, IEnvSc etc.).
  • Experience and qualification in one or more of the following: SAP assessment/OCDEA, SBEM/LCEA, development of energy strategies, u-value calculations, thermal bridging assessment.
  • Project management experience, ideally for multi-service energy and environmental consultancy projects.
