CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to join our maintenance team in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on both plant, equipment, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving machinery performance, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide expert advice on safety procedures.
  • Work on motors, gearboxes, valves, and other systems, encompassing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system.
  • Liaise with site services to manage building services-related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
  • Act as a responsible person when required and deputize the shift leader during annual leave or sickness.
  • Be available to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed by the business.

Requirements:

  • Certification in electrical competence to at least City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to the 17th Edition standard.
  • Mechanical competence to an acceptable standard, equivalent to City and Guild's Mechanical.
  • Good multi-skilled ability.
  • PLC diagnostics/repair competencies.
  • NVQ qualifications to Level 2 in Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Ability to supervise contractors.
  • Able to write risk and method statements.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
