Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our catering function in food preparation and maintaining a clean environment for the safe production of beverages and meals.

This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality and comprehensive service is delivered to residents, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Food Handling and Hygiene: Understand and apply the principles of safe food handling to ensure all food preparations meet the required standards.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Advise on the supply and quality of items used for tasks, ensuring timely ordering of replacement goods.
Requirements
  1. Certification: Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
  3. Aptitude and Attitude: Demonstrate initiative and display a positive, flexible attitude to team working.
  4. Criminal Record Check: A DBS Disclosure check will be required; the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.

Estimated Salary: £22,500 per annum.
