Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and organized Mobile General Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our quick-service restaurant team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and serving areas.

As a Mobile General Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our school team and pupils, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and serving areas, and supporting the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.

You will also be responsible for observing food handling and hygiene regulations, following health and safety guidelines, and ensuring that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and serving areas
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles
  • Observe food handling and hygiene regulations
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic food preparation and cooking skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
