Field Operations Specialist

Olympus UK & Ireland, a pioneering medical device and technology company, seeks an accomplished Field Operations Specialist to join our team. With over seven decades of experience in the medical sector, we are renowned for our expertise and dedication to excellence.
This exciting opportunity involves ensuring the smooth operation of Olympus Endoscope Decontamination equipment at customer sites nationwide. The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide prompt and professional assistance to customers during repair call outs.
- To undertake planned preventative maintenance of Olympus Endoscope Decontamination equipment nationwide.
- To assist with the installation of Endoscope Decontamination equipment at customer sites nationwide.
- To conduct water validation on Endoscope Decontamination equipment nationwide.
- To adhere to documented procedures and record works accurately using our service management system.
- To maintain the company vehicle.
Requirements:
- HNC in electronics or equivalent experience – Essential.
- Previous experience of HTM-01-06 guidelines – Desirable.
- Experience within medical Infection Prevention equipment.
- Previous experience of performing in a technical field service team – Desirable.
- Possess an aptitude for knowledge in Electro Medical devices.
- Must have Bio Medical Equipment experience – Desirable.
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to present information in a structured way.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
