We are seeking an experienced Baggage Handler to join our team at Optime Group. As a key member of our ground operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of luggage and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer luggage, ensuring it is loaded into the aircraft for departure and unloaded and transported to the airport on arrival.
  • Work both airside and within the Undercroft (baggage unit), ensuring the proper distribution of weight and balance.
  • Perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving luggage up to 30KG in weight, and adapt to adverse weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with other ramp agents, ground handling staff, and airline personnel to ensure efficient airport operations.

Requirements:

  • Full manual driving licence
  • Good attention to detail and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
  • Right to Work in the UK and 5-year fully checkable reference history
  • Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
