We have an exceptional opportunity for a Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our stroke teams in Worcestershire. As a key figure in our psychological interventions program, you will drive the development of matched care approaches and foster multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering high-impact psychological interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Providing expert consultation and guidance to colleagues on neuropsychological assessments, therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Contributing to service development, teaching, and training initiatives.
- Supervising junior staff members and promoting professional growth.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent) accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Substantial experience in specific, evidence-based techniques for use with clients with complex psychological presentations and/or physical health difficulties.
- Evidence of regular further professional training and experience as required by the Health and Care Professions Council and the BPS.
- Eligibility for registration as a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist by the BPS.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
