Job Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in the South West region of England. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, and other small mammals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A veterinary degree from a recognized institution, such as a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
- A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and their pets.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- A compassionate and caring approach to animals, with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality care.
