Job Title: Research Ecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Ecologist to join our team and play a key role in shaping and building our ecology department. As a Research Ecologist, you will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys and assessments, leading and managing projects, and developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the development of the ecology department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ecology or environmental consulting.
  • Ability to undertake bat emergence surveys.
  • Experience with GCN surveys (not absolute requirement).
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental regulations and policies.
  • Proficiency in ecological surveying and data analysis, including the use of GIS software.
  • A full UK driving license.
