Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Parker Smith Inclusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a young person with learning difficulties, ASD, and ADHD in a specialist school based in Camden.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on a student's life, providing individualized support and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the student's learning and development in a 1:1 setting
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the student, their family, and school staff
  • Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to address the student's complex needs
  • Provide emotional support and de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties and complex behaviors
  • Understanding of appropriate boundaries and procedures in schools
  • Passion for supporting students with special educational needs
