Job Title: Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a local school in Waterlooville. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils
  • Work with Key stage 1 and 2 aged pupils
  • Work under the guidance of a teacher supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
