We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our esteemed Facilities Management client's dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of high-street retail environments across Southampton.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair tasks in high-street shops.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
- Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) according to schedules.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Competitive Salary: £38,000 per annum.
- Company Van & Fuel Card: For work-related travel, ensuring you have the tools you need to get the job done.
- Standby Fee: £100 for being on-call, with a 1 in 6 call-out rota.
- Overtime Pay: Additional compensation for call-outs, ensuring your extra effort is rewarded.
- Varied Work Environment: Gain experience working in different high-street retail settings.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a mobile role.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 Test & Inspect).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Full UK driving license.
