Role: Residential Care Worker
At Forge Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team in a Therapeutic Community setting. This role involves working with children who have experienced trauma, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
- Encourage and support children in their educational and personal development
- Manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support to children
Requirements:
- Experience working with children who have experienced trauma is advantageous
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Aged 21 or over
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work long days and sleep-ins on a rota basis
