Job Overview

At the City of Edinburgh Council, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Primary School Teaching team as a Part-time Education Professional.

This fixed-term position involves working 27.5 hours per week, covering P3 on Mondays and Tuesdays and P6 on Thursdays and Fridays. We are committed to creating a nurturing school environment that promotes the principles of education, attendance, and attainment in literacy and numeracy.

We strive to make our school grounds a key part of our educational provision, with a focus on outdoor education and activities. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a purpose-built nursery building, separate halls for dining, assembly, and PE, as well as a library and nurture areas.

The ideal candidate will be required to undergo a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 check and join the PVG Scheme or undergo a Scheme update check.
